Terms of use
Last updated: 25 September 2026
These terms apply to the Hisab Card Android app and to this website. By using the app you agree to them.
What the service is
Hisab Card is a record-keeping tool for a shop's own accounts. It stores what you enter — customers, purchases, payments and balances — and shows a customer their own bill when they sign in.
It is a record of your accounts, not a bank or a payment service. We do not move money, and we do not verify that any entry is correct.
Your account
- You sign in with Google, or with a mobile number proven by a one-time code. Keep access to that account or number: it is the only way into your account.
- You are responsible for what is recorded under your account, including customer details you enter. Only enter details you are entitled to hold.
- The app is intended for business use by adults. It is not for children.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- use the service to break the law, or to store data you may not hold;
- attempt to reach records that are not yours, or interfere with the service or its security;
- use the sign-in code facility to send messages to people who have not asked for them.
We may suspend or close an account that is used this way.
Subscriptions and ads
- Shop owners get a free trial, then need a paid plan to keep adding entries and customers. Prices and what each plan allows are shown in the app.
- Payments are handled by Google Play under Google's own terms. Cancelling, refunds and billing questions are handled through Google Play.
- When a plan ends, your records stay readable — you do not lose access to your own history.
- Customer accounts see advertising. Owner accounts see no advertising, except a rewarded video they may choose to watch in exchange for extra entries when their plan has ended.
Availability
The app needs a network connection to sync. We aim to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will always be available, and we may change or withdraw features.
Your data
How we handle your data is set out in the privacy policy. You can ask us to delete your account as described on the delete-account page.
Limits on our responsibility
The service is provided as it is. We are not responsible for losses arising from entries you make, from a customer's use of the information shown to them, from a lost device or sign-in ability, or from anything outside our reasonable control. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose; the app can export data and statements for that purpose.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction.
